Miramar is the city beach of Panjim. Word Miramar
is taken from Portuguese language and stands for
Looking at sea. This palm shadowed beach is
situated very close to Panaji [2-3 km] so you can
go for morning walk on the silvery golden sand
here. This meeting point of Mandavi river with
Arabian sea, on full moon day night, under the
moonlight, appear a magical live telecast from the
heaven. Miramar beach is favorite shelter of
migratory birds, some hundreds of north Indian
bird species
