Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary in the Orissa is
probably the only one situated in the man grove
largest forest and famous for conversation of
endangered salt water Crocodile. Bhitarkanika
Wildlife Sanctuary is the natural home for
large number of flora and fauna and hot favorite
wildlife destination among the nature lovers. More
than 50 migratory bird species from the
central Asia and Europe nest into the mangrove
area of the sanctuary during the winter. At the
Gahirmatha coast , large number of Olive Ridley
Sea Turtles lay their eggs and to protect this rich
wildlife sanctuary is converted in to Bhitarkanika
National Park in the year 1998. Bhitarkanika is
one of best place for lovers of marine wildlife.
Inhabiting saltwater crocodiles and marine
