Dhrupad Mela : Five day musical festival held annually in the month of March.

Hindu faith says that dying and funerals at Kashi is the symbol of freedom from cycle of birth and rebirth and in the olden days, old aged people were going to stay at Banaras till the death. This process was called as Kashi Karvat. Still there are few people who believe in this process.
