About Badrivishal Temple : According to Hindu mythology Badrinath temple existed even before the Vedic era. The main temple pronounced as Badrivishal have 15 black stone sculpted Idols. This is believed that present 15 meter tall, conical shaped temple was constructed by the Gadwal Kings though it is legend that this abode of Lord Vishnu was re-established by Hindu religious master Adi Shankaracharya.
