Amritsar is the most scared city of Sikhism, The living God Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib were installed here at Golden Temple, one of most fascinating architecture of the world, build in the year 1604. Word Amritsar is derived from two words Amrit [Nectar] and sarovar [Lake], this sarovar was constructed by fifth Sikh Guru, Ramdas Sahib in 1574. International border line Wagha, with Pakistan is about 20 km from the city.
